Question by K: good beginners reference book for universal waite tarot cards?
I’m looking to get into tarot using the universal waite deck to start out, but I’m trying to find a book that can help guide me in the right direction of card meanings… including the reversed meanings. can anyone offer a title or two that have been helpful?

Honestly? The best beginners guide comes with the deck you buy. Figuring out meanings of symbolism is always more fun.

Nancy Garen has a good book out, not reversal oriented though. Rachael Pollock The complete Illustrated Guide to the Tarot, Tognetti and Mellinetti Complete Idiots Guide to Tarot Reading (I mean it best damn tarot book out there), The everything Tarot Book, Authors: Rachael Pollock, Mary Greer, Nancy Garen, also there are great sites out there. Refer to The Tarot Guild and Bonnie Chevot.

Evil? Uh, no.. Are your dreams evil?
Maybe you feel like it’s suggested explanations try to read your mind and are an intrusion. Most of that stuff though is SO off.

Actually it has to do with repressed contents in your own mind.

No, it has nothing to do with evil things. Maybe because the people write dream dictionaries try to make them have an air of mysteriousness. I can save you a lot of time, the things in your dreams symbolize what you associate them with. And they‘re not precogniscient, it’s just stuff you’re thinking about.

anything that has to do with “spiritual knowledge” like horoscopes, tarot cards, Ouija boards, spirit guides, dream interpretations etc are all tools that the devil uses to lead people in the occult. this “creepy feeling” then probably is the presence of a demon. Pray that God will release you from the bondage of any evil things and that he guards your heart from temptation as well
hope this helped!
Nope, but it could be that you were raised to THINK they were evil. Which they are not.
Maybe you have something that crops up in your dreams that your subconscious is repressing, like some bad childhood memory. So the reason you feel creeped out when you read dream dictionaries is because your conscious mind doesn’t want to find an interpretation to the dream. It’s the dream that is really creeping you out.
