The math formula is made so you will give the answer they want you to have no matter what. They usually tell you to pick a number, then subtract it at some time. This makes it the same result.

It doesnt…

It’s math, not a fortune. Some use the trick of changing the suites in a deck of cards so the card you choose will always be gone, others use a simple math formula that allows you limited and known choices in your answer so no matter What number you pick you’ll wind up with their answer.

You COULD use your laptop because you can get these things that let you connect your plug into another, then into the Russian plug.

Otherwise you can fiddle with the entertainment system, sleep or watch some movies.

I hate long flights like that. I usually watch the movies and read in between. Would taking a sleeping pill be out of the question?

The most frustrating thing is getting gassy on the flight.

bring some books that should kill sometime. you can also bring some earplugs and watch the inflight movie. you can buy smallhandheld electronic games (like connect four or poker) and play those. for that matter bring a gameboy or something like that.

Long flights are boring…..sleeping is what I do, if you have trouble with it take a sleeping tablet.
If your old enough getting drunk is good too, just make sure you have an aisle seat for the bathroom trips. Happy flying.

Maybe buy a portable DVD player. They aren’t very expensive and you don’t need to plug them in! Then you can watch movies.

You could read. Buy some magazines and books to bring with you. Listen to your iPod/CD player.

Gosh, 15 hours?! Thats so long lol!

    Have a fun trip =)

I would sedate myself heavily and try to remain unconscious for as much time as possible. That’s not fun at all.

Don’t they have adapters for the plugs. Look around, I’m sure they are out there.

  18. Pablito March 10, 2013 at 4:18 am #

Personally, I think it depends on your taste.
Usually I like to get packed up with tons of books about anything (sudokus, crosswords, reading) or play a video game if you have one (DS, PSP, etc), maybe you can write apart from drawing… Yes I know some of these things may sound boring… listen to music…
Anything you like, it depends on you.
If you get sick remember to have a pill, if not you’ll be suffering the whole flight!

bring along a fully charged mp3 or ipod or whatever music player you have.
what’s better than listening to your favourite music?
you could also try to solve sudoku puzzles, the rubik’s cube, or even play crossword puzzles!
    it’s a loads of fun!
maybe bring along a gossip magazine or so to read while munching on your favourite junk food or something.
    keep yourself occupied!
you can really do almost anything in a plane.
you’ve got all the time (:

  26. Kanuk March 10, 2013 at 9:16 am #

munch on a big box of chocolates while watching a movie or reading a book, or doing a crossword puzzle ( an easy one,) they are more fun and if you time your self with each puzzle you’ll enjoy it more.

  27. Jordan Roach March 10, 2013 at 9:36 am #

theres a number of things you could do, watch moives, play games if you have a psp or ds etc. read if your head doesnt really hurt. many people try to go to sleep( they take sleeping pills) and then yif u do that you may wake up on the plane with a headake. humm eat chew gum. anythng that takes time to do. i would defently try sleeping though. dont try to stay up allt he way because then youll be pooped the next day or when u get off the planr. ( bring advil) i really hope this helps you!

Get some crossword/puzzle books, a Nintendo DS, or a PSP, or my personal favorite, audio books! You can download radio shows such as Coast to Coast AM, listen to two or three shows and you are there! All kinds of shows are in MP3 format and available for download, I’d make an ultimate MP3 playlist and boogie down!

Plugs may be different in russia, but you can buy converters for all your US standard plugs! Online! for only 8.99, the link is below…so bring that laptop along!

well thse are some basic things….

    read a book or magazine
    listen to music…
take tour books and plan your vacaation or watever so u dont have to do it later
learn by taking one of those ‘something’ for dummies books.
    write a novel.
write letters to people you have lost touch with and send them later.
you can extercise your arms and feet by flexing your muscles.
pretend its a relaxing spa day.

yup… 15 hours is a looong time. im going on a 11 hour trip on monday so i have that same problem. good luck!!!

    Talk to strangers.

  33. Toolride March 10, 2013 at 12:03 pm #

First I would look into maybe taking some Dramamine if you are literally getting sick when you are on planes.

A good think I like to do is go to the gift shop and see what they have available. There you can find books, puzzle books, and other things that would help you ease through the “joys” of a 15 hour flight. Or go to your local super store and go into the game isles and get a small battery operated hand held game.

    Have a nice flight.

The laptop thing confused me…are you traveling from or to Russia? Either way the laptops battery doesn’t care and will work on the flight, and you can buy a 50/60 hertz converter for next to nothing these days. Anywho, bring a deck of cards, solitaire is awsome for killing time! You might also be able to get up a card game with the people next to you! You can also ask your Dr for something that will knock you out for a while. Of course there is always the “Mile High Club”!

    hey

download movies or tv shows onto ipod,

or if you haven’t got one, then watch people that are chatting to other people, and make up silly conversations (pretend they are saying things that they really aren’t)

    e.g.
mr.x : this flight is so boring, i just want to sleep.
mrs. y: yeah and the food sucks, but the wine is lurvelyyy!

but you pretend that mr. x said:
i am an ex sas soldier travelling to bring an informant home to keep him safe from the mafia

and mrs. y replies: thats amazing i cant believe that, what a coincidence, i’m a government official on my way to broker a deal with the russian government and i used to be married to an sas soldier, but he was killed in iraq.

mr. x: omg what a coincidence indeed, but thats a shame about your late husband, what was his name?

mrs. y : his name was frank

    mr.x: not frank smith

    mrs.y: yes

mr. x: omg that was my bestest friend in the whole world, we trained together and served in afganistan and iraq together, until i was captured and imprisoned for 5 years.

    hee hee hee

its great fun, but i’d go with the ipod thing……..

  37. Burt D March 10, 2013 at 2:48 pm #

    bring a pillow and sleeeep.

  38. Duke March 10, 2013 at 2:55 pm #

Bring your iPod, or any other electronic accessory that you usually listen to, or play when you’re going somewhere normally. If you can bring light snacks don’t bring junk food like that guy said that will only cause Jet Lag to avoid jet lag take a look at this site, it really helps.

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18962591/

And bring a book that you never get bored of, or if your iPod can play movies load as many movies as you can so that you won’t get bored. And walk around the cabin that really helps. Try talking to the people next to you, if they seem weird then don’t because they’ll only annoy you during the flight then. And you SHOULD sleep, it doesn’t harm you, and try avoiding the airline food, its true for most people that they only eat it because they are bored and that messes around with your chemical balances in your brain because it has to double its duties now because it has to digest more than normal. And another I do is to find out the local time where I am going and try to sleep according to that for about a week before I have the flight.

    Happy flying.
